I just went to Dr. Hechtman’s today. I had a new crown put on. Before there was a huge gap. It fits very good with no gap. I’ve noticed Dr. Hechtman is very precise, more than any dentist I’ve ever been to. If something is not right he works with it until it is right. I’m very pleased with the crown and his work. He is very easy to talk to. His staff make you feel very comfortable and right at home.

Don’t Ever Need Treatment I Sincerely Thought. My fears about dental treatment were put to rest upon meeting Dr. Hechtman and his staff. As soon as I entered their office, their friendliness, kindness, and most of all, patience, became obvious to me. Now I can say that dreaded word “dentist”, without fear and trembling. Thanks again to Dr. Hechtman, and to your very efficient staff.

We had gone to the same dentist in Livonia for 30 some years. Then we moved to Commerce and kept going into Livonia. But my husband was having some problems with his teeth and we were running back and forth all the time and our dentist couldn’t get the problem fixed and he didn’t seem to care that things were not working out. When I called your office, I talked to Robin. I was so impressed by her friendly voice and understanding of my problems, it sounded like a place we would be happy with. To say we are happy with your service is an understatement. Everyone from the time we walked in the office, was just as nice as they could be. Smiling, happy, talkative, caring, and so willing to listen to what we had to say. Your office is so clean and cheerful that it is a joy to walk in the door. We are so satisfied with the work that has been done and the kindness you have all shown us. I know our problems are unusual, but you have all been so helpful about everything. Isn’t it crazy that I’m sending a card to a dentist’s office to tell you… You are the best and I miss you. I wanted to let you know I had my first dental appointment down here (I’ve been putting it off). When the dentist did the check of all my teeth he said “It’s not often I see this quality work down here. I’d like to look in your mouth just a little longer to appreciate it.”
The dental technician today during the cleaning said “Someone has done some very fine work on your teeth!” If I had the money, I’d fly back every 6 months to keep you as my dental office. I miss the quality of your care for me and my whole family. I miss all of you!!

I just wanted to thank you for the care you have given my daughter and myself over the past few years. I came to your office after a recommendation of an orthodontist, Dr. Hersch. Dr, Hersch knew of an awful root canal experience I had with my past dentist. He assured me that Dr. Hechtman would be the dentist for me – treating me with exceptional care that was pain free. More importantly, Dr. Hechtman and his staff treat patients with respect, realizing many of us would avoid dental care because of our fears. In this office, I have never been made to feel like I am “high maintenance”, even though I know I am more difficult than other patients! Over time, Dr. Hechtman and his staff are helping me believe that dental care can be not only tolerable, but also anxiety-free. For anyone reading this, I highly recommend Dr. Hechtman and his staff for your families dental care needs. In addition, a special thank you to Mary, my dental hygienist. Mary has the gift of talking her way through a cleaning that not only makes time fly by, but totally takes your mind off of what is going on – better than any nitrous! After my three year old daughter had a nightmare experience with her cleaning at a supposed “pediatric dental specialist”, Mary convinced me to bring my daughter to this office. After 2 minutes, she fell in love with Mary and LOVES to go see her – especially when Mary lets her assist taking care of mommy’s teeth!. She even described having 4 baby molar cavities filled at one time as an exciting experience and thinks Dr. Hechtman is so nice!.
